This school is NOT diverse, very old fashion, and not tuned with today's world. No Asian teachers, one Black teacher, No Spanish teachers. Mainly all white staff. When I had an issue they spoke to me rude and condescending because I'm Spanish. I would do research before moving to this town. My kid hates this school and it's sad because he is only in Kindergarten. He really miss his old school he cries every morning to go back to his old school. My kid also love giving hugs and he was told to keep his hands to himself because Covid. He came home so sad he really lost his excitement for school.

The teachers and administrators are accessible and great to talk to. They put forth their best effort in all areas to do a great job with the children. If there is a challenge, it is easy to speak with someone who really cares and work through a problem

Quite sad what has become of this district. Teachers disrespect students which then facilitate the disrespect amongst students with each other. Principal, VP and superintendent are more worried about appearance then student welfare and education all while talking down to parents when there is an issue which they never will address or resolve-all performative. Sterling has some major problems with bullying and peer on peer assault, yet do not take any real measures/actions to address in a productive manner. Education received at Sterling is subpar to surrounding schools. So glad I pulled my child out and went to another district, astounding difference at new district in quality of education, student engagement and safety. If I could do over, I would not have moved to this district and definitely would not have sent my child to this high school.
