"the downtown area is fun, and the people are super friendly. the water parks are the best in the summer time. you can use a golf cart to get to the store, the kids to school, go golfing, or just go visit a neighbor. the restaurant's are numerous and eceltic with new ones coming every year or so. "

"Wonderful downtown area! Plenty of amazing places to eat dinner, grabs some sweets or just hang out! Everyone is super friendly and the community is very well maintained. New places are being added so it is continually growing! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great area to live and raise a family that Roanoke is the perfect place!"

"There are green areas that have deer, rabbits and other wildlife right behind our home and throughout the neighborhood. And then a mile away, there are restaurants, grocery stores, banks, and all the other conveniences of a large town. And a few miles the other direction is the countryside of a Texas. "
