"Safe, quiet, clean place to live. Neighbors are friendly and there are plenty of parks and places for the kids to play."
  • David F.
"Nice neighbors. Don’t like the busy street with no parking on south side of the street especially during County fair however might have much less traffic"
  • Trulia User
"It is a very dog-friendly community. A large portion of people own dogs, and you can see a number of people walking their dogs throughout the day. My biggest complaint is the lighting in my neighborhood - even with a reflective harness and leash I still don’t feel as though my dog is visible enough for walks at night - and there are no sidewalks. "

"Most of the neighborhoods in Jefferson have a Mayberry kind of feeling. It's fun to return to the city to see all of the improvements being done. one negative is that a lot of the yards aren't kept up the way that they should be."

"Great little neighborhood by the Rock River. Great schools, nice little downtown with awesome bakery and burger/ice cream shops, family-owned pharmacy. Wonderful place to call home. Jefferson is underrated!"
  • Betsy
"Great location between Lake Mills, Johnson creek, and Cambridge, and half way between Madison and Milwaukee. Easy access to any outing from local farmers markets to major sporting events, fabulous restaurants and cafe's. But still have a private setting to escape to. Truly the best of both worlds!"
