"I dont have kids in this beighborhood and i dont see very many in my neighborhood . I would take children to the suburbs and put them in a smaller school system "
  • Trulia User
"Meighborhood clean up for free , meetings at the mccormick school many have the ring doorbell and post events often and for the most part look out for one another the block i live on has many home owners and people that have lived in the neighborhood for 40 plus years .. "
  • Loliphant1204
"Beautiful neighborhood to raise your young children and keep them safe. I really like my neighbors. I really like the fact that I can take my dog for a walk alone"
  • Clgoerzen
"People letting their dogs bark constantly. Down my street from my house is a four plex and cops show up at least 1 or 2 times a week. Neighbors are very rude and inconsiderate to other people’s schedules. Lots of strays. And lots of random people walking around constantly. "
  • Cyleebee0612
"There’s lots of culture and friendly neighbors! It’s lovely seeing people from all backgrounds coming together and living happily as neighbors and helping eachother out"
  • Clgoerzen
"This neighborhood is not as bad as it is made out to be as long as you are not wanting to make friends with your neighbors most people in this area want to keep to themselves and mind their business. That’s how it usually is amongst neighbors. The area i live i am not very close with my neighbors but they seem to be very nice people."
  • Thea M.
"Not an ideal neighborhood anymore, I wouldn’t go outside by myself at night that’s for sure. Landlords or rental property really needs to do deeper background checks "
  • Tawney L.
"For the most part it is a calm and quiet neighborhood. I feel comfortable to be alone outside at night. Over the passed 3 years, our cars have been broken into twice. Could have been just some kids. "
  • Harleyrepass60
"there are wsy to many thorn berrys in the yards and grass make sure kids and your selfs where shoes"
  • Theamoravec
"I grew up in this neighborhood. most neighbors are still around, say hi to each other, and kids play outside with each other. but once street lights go on you don't want to be outside by yourself. "
  • Jeffrey
"it's ok my daughter goes to school my job is right up the street. nice neighborhood great neighbor "
  • Theamoravec
"I grew up in this neighborhood. there's still a lot of the same people I knew from when I was a child and have know all my life. but it's not the same, it's not safe to be alone at night around here or you just don't want to be out past dark on the streets unless your on your own property. "
  • Scarlet_dove_1969
"It used to be a nice neighborhood full of grandparents but now it's just another cheap neighborhood in Wichita."
  • Zac m.
"This area blows from what I can tell most of my neighbors are on meth. People speed too fast through the neighborhood and not very many people are open and friendly."
