8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m not sure why this school has gotten such a bad reputation over the years. But I have nothing negative to say about this school, matter of fact it is quite the opposite. I have nothing but great things to say. This school helps the kids thrive and succeed in their education. They build them confidence in themselves and learning. The teachers are fantastic. The school makes sure to stay in contact constantly with parents for any of their needs or their children’s needs. I have not heard of any bullying problems. All I’ve ever seen is kids getting along. my son is thriving here and I intend to send my daughter here next year as well. The school has won multiple awards for high test scores and for exceeding above average in education. I am very pleased all around with what this school has to offer my children. I live in the neighborhood and an proud to have 2 amazing school in my neighborhood.P.S. as a parent if you ever have any concerns, please talk to the school and take a tour before you make any judgments on the school itself.Parent Review1y ago - West Mecklenburg High

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAdministration is terribly unsupportive, unresponsive, unprofessional, and lacking in overall professionalism. Overcrowded due to an entire side of the city being forced into the school despite many other high schools being in the area. Transportation is a nightmare. First of all they're forcing my child to go home because they can't deal with them! Like do your job and provide support for my child so i can work and so they can learn. Also they do terrible at making sure my child feels safe and comfort and belonging.
