A lovely 2-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom furnished home on Sligo Creek Park, available for multi-month or yearly rentals. The home is fully furnished and equipped, and has an inviting deck that looks out on the peaceful greenery of the park's forest. Ideal for professional single or couple in need of temporary housing or second home.

The top floor has a full bathroom and two bedrooms. One is set up as a master bedroom (double bed, light-filtering curtains, and black-out blinds) and the other is set up as a sunny office with a large, height-adjustable desk, ergonomic leather chair, and fold-out couch.

Main floor has a half-bath, living room, piano, dining area, breakfast counter, kitchen, and walk-out deck. There is a small corner desk in living room as well, perfect for laptop or video calls.

High Speed internet, smart TV and all utilities included. Also fully equipped with kitchen supplies and mostly everything you will need to live comfortably.

Live plants throughout home, two ample closets and lots of nice sunlight. There is a fully separate basement apartment with a private entrance that is used by mother-in-law three days a week. Washer and dryer in the basement are shared with the basement apartment, although rarely occupied.

Surrounded by greenery and nature. Ten miles of trail along Sligo Creek Park directly behind the property are perfect for walking, jogging and biking. Sligo Creek Parkway, which runs through the park, is also closed to traffic for bikers and walkers Friday - Sunday.

Easy, free parking. Forest Glen Red Line metro is 5 minutes away driving and a half hour walking. Plenty of shopping and eating also nearby, but far enough not to spoil the peaceful vibe of the community.

We love pets, but because of clean, carefully selected furnishings and upstairs carpeting, they are not invited to stay at this time. Also, this is a smoke-free home.

I believe in making a home a warm and welcoming oasis, and everyone who has stayed here has also said that's what it feels like. I'm also nearby so I can address anything that comes up in a timely manner. I am looking for a renter who will take good care of the place, keep it generally clean, and be a considerate upstairs neighbor. Everything is included in rent (utilities, high-speed internet, amenities and furnishings). Price is negotiable based on length of lease: from $3000 for one month to $2,600 for 12 months.
