About this House

You're going to love this adorable two bedroom, one bath Cape style cottage! Perfect for the starter or downsizer. Freshly remodeled, this house is bright and airy with light, "maple" laminate flooring througout. The front door leads into a spacious living room featuring an upkept fire place. As you make your way into the open concept kitchen, you'll be welcomed by the warm wood of rustic cabinets and updated, black appliances (fridge new 2020, dishwasher new 2017, range new 2012 all included). There's a door off the side of the kitchen that leads to the side yard and driveway. Enjoy your meals from the dinning space which overlooks the back deck and yard. A 12'x10' deck leads off of the kitchen, overlooking a garden along the back of the house, and a partly fenced, highly private yard. The third of an acre lot features modest landscaping, a shed, and a chicken coop, and is great for outdoor entertaining.

Back in the house, off the kitchen in the hallway leading to the bathroom, bedrooms and basement. The bathroom has been updated with a double vanity, tile floor and new, brushed nickel fixtures.

There is a small bedroom perfect for various uses and a very spacious master bedroom. Brand new ceiling fans in both rooms.

As you move into the partially finished basement, there is another 1,056 sq ft of space. There is a King-O-Heat coal stove which has been used as a wood stove to heat the house in winter. The house features electric heating, so the stove and fireplace are a good supplement in the cooler months. This side of the basement includes a built in work/office, carpeted game area, as well as a washer and dryer (included with the house). Water is fed to the house from a well (no water fees), with a new pump (2012) and water heater (2015). The other third of the basement is a separate storage area with access to the bulkhead (new 2012) which opens into the backyard.

Over the last few years, other updates have included a new roof (2018), driveway (2017), septic (2021), radon mitigation system (2012). In 2013 the house was updated by the Mass Energy Program with new attic insulation and digital thermostats throughout. The house comes with the pictured furnishings and a one year home warranty.
