5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOrchard is one of the worst schools on Cleveland’s westside . Do not send your kids here . The whole entire staff sucks, they are bullies, they talk so rude and crazy to the students . They don’t allow the kids bathroom breaks, they grab children by their shirts , by their arms and drag them . The principal never calls back. Your child will be so unhappy at this school.Parent Review4w ago5 Reviews - Stephanie Tubbs Jones School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a graduate of CSA with a 3.6 GPA, 4 seals, Impact! and ArtWorks completion, and in progress for a BFA. I cannot recommend this school to anyone else. The admin have made it their mission to stamp the passion and creativity out of students there with awful art support, terrible treatment of A.I.R.'s, lack of direction for majors like Visual Arts and Theater, and overall issues including but not limited to:-Awful treatment of A.I.Rs including mismanagement, and at worst stringing along and leaving unpaid-Severely underfunded tech department with unusable desktops on campus and provided laptops that don't hold a charge or connect to the internet-Funding only being put towards Dance and Theater, despite Theater lacking clear direction since Doc's passing.-Implementing AI Generated art on their social media pages and refusing to take it down-Lack of care of students emotional wellness-Painting over murals for higher-up approvalAnd this is only the beginning. Fantastic teachers, great student body, yet the school is being sucked and bled dry of its legacy by the admin running it and the district overseeing it. Do not come here if given the chance.Other Review1y ago8 Reviews - The School Of One

"The diversity of the neighborhood is what makes it so unique. It’s filled with multiple backgrounds of culture and ethnicities. Very vibrant and outstandingly unique in its own ways. Could be safer for the kids and elderly; yet a work in progress if everyone came together more at the many community events that are held through the year. "

"Up and coming but very slowly. Very poor school district. Need more police patrol to control violence. Good coffee shops or food is roughly 10min+ away at minimum "

"I have a dog and I limit the duration and distance of our walks. A very short time and in view of where we live. The neighborhood is not safe in any sense of the word. I don’t see anything changing for quite a few years."

"Cleveland Flea, Asian Festival, end of summer Air Show. These are city sponsored events and are not limited to just this areas people. Other than these few events, there is not much that really goes on around here."

"Pretty basic....Major highways are close by. Traffic can get backed up when leaving the city in the afternoon and coming into the city in the morning. Living here would be an advantage with those that work in downtown Cleveland."

"There are many open areas for playing, and lots of walkable neighborhood spaces. There are stray cats and the occasional dog as well, and no dog bag dispensers."

"It's close to the freeway, gas stations, shopping and the lake with Gordon Park right before that. My I lived in the area in the past, and it's a lot of families that stands together to help watch out for their children and others. It's also have great houses with stong foundation."
