The Moose Lodge Cabin is our largest cabin in size. It has a large kitchen with dining table and is a perfect rental for those who like to cook while traveling. This lodge offers a built in desk overlooking the farm for those looking for a cabin rental in Murphy where they can work while they play. This log cabin lodge offers a king size master bedroom as well as a queen futon style log sofa. The moose lodge has a private front and rear porch overlooking our farm, pond, and overlooks the portion of Cobb Creek that flows on the Northern corner of our farm. This rental also offers a separate and private entrance from the other cabins. Our largest one bedrom log cabin rental

All utilities are included and we charge no additional charge for well behaved and approved pets. If it makes no additional work for us we believe it should be no extra charge for you.

    "vehicle is a must have commodity to get around when you live out of the town city limits. Unless you like to walk or ride a bike. They're are few other drawbacks as well. Communicating by cell phone is not very good around the countryside, lacking cell towers. This is a problem, even trying to get on the internet. Somedays are better than others but still we have poor reception. Other than that we have the beautiful outdoors. We can enjoy going to the national forest for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing or just driving around the back roads and enjoy scenery as well as wildlife. Living outside the city's limit might have it's drawbacks but you take the good and the bad as it comes and make the best of it."

    "Murphy, NC is a small community with all the basics (yes, including Walmart). There is a lot to do or you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Winters are NOT harsh, however, you will need warm clothing. You can enjoy the wildlife from your back deck or walk the many trails throughout the county. Although Murphy will have a Casino come the Summer of 2015; it will have little impact on the quality of life."
