"There are at least 3 preschools in the neighborhood. There’s less traffic and it’s quieter than the area near Irving Street. The UCSF hospital is less than a 5 minute drive."

"It takes me 25 min using muni to downtown during peak commute hours. Very fast. Very predictable as you can track times on the muni app. "

"I’ve lived here for 20 years and it’s a nice family oriented neighborhood. Restaurants, bars and golden gate park are all in walking distance. I wish we had a front yard but that’s what we lack here in the houses no front yard and hardly any backyard. Schools are good so overall it’s a nice place to live."

"There's easy access to the Golden Gate Bridge and good public transportation, with 5 Muni lines close by. The commute to the East Bay is not as good—you'd have to drive downtown to get onto I-80. If I need to go downtown, I take the N-Judah and don't try driving unless it's late."

"The Inner Sunset is where it's happening. Great, safe, beautiful area, with hills and Golden Gate Park at your door. Lots of shops, coffeehouses, restaurants, banks, bars and other amenities and the N-Judah train is right in the middle of it all. Parts of the Inner Sunset have views of the ocean, The Golden Gate Bridge and Downtown. This is the new hip place to settle in San Francisco, where you can buy a HOUSE for what a flat will cost you on the other side of Twin Peaks."

  • Steve R.
"We've lived in Inner Sunset for almost four years. I really like the neighborhood very much. Big pluses: walkability, proximity to shops, restaurants, Golden Gate Park and UCSF Medical Center, good public trans, upgrades to streets, sidewalks and utilities, recent neighborhood activities. Negatives: streets and store fronts need more upgrades, more fog than you'd get to the East of Twin Peaks (though less than you'd think; Outer Sunset gets more)."
