5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to recommend this school when my 3 other children were here. It was a Blue Ribbon school, The School to watch, and a 9/10 in ratings. It's now a 5/10 rating. If you have a dyslexic child do not go here. The history teacher gave my dyslexic child crossword puzzles and a ton of packets to fill out and read every single lesson. And the reason for the very low grade, a diary project. She just couldn't do it and cried every night staying up so very late working on it. She would turn it in and he would send it back saying it was wrong and this continued and continued till she just stopped caring. I being a history buff did it for her and guess what it was still wrong!!! Seriously!!! I asked her teacher to just ask her the questions. She can accurately answer any history questions for hours, but there is no way she can write a novel about being a kid during the Texas Revolution. He still continued to do it his way saying in his email that she needed to be challenged.The principals are AMAZING, every one of them, and most of the teachers are incredible. They have a very hard school to deal with and absolutely zero help from LTISD. They have just let it plummet like the elementary not far from the middle school Lake Travis Elementary. We had to move out of the school zone to get my daughter out of LTE and when she arrived at Serene Hills, they had to test her to see how far behind she was, because as I was told, the kids we get from there are very far behind and we need to catch them up.Parent Review4w ago - Check out schools near 105 Neville Wood Ct.
