2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter struggled in the school I was told she needed an IEP and also needed to be medicated. We did try the meds which did not work because she did not need them. We put her in a different school and now she is doing much better. I later found out the school is only meeting proficiency at 8%, 92% of the school is failing the state proficiency expectations. Knowing this the school still tried to medicate my child and give her an IEP, neither of which she needed.Parent Review2y ago - Lincoln Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers (Mr. Hill, Mr. Campbell, and Mr. Welle) we’re beyond incredible. Having them as my teachers for advanced classes was terrific. Other teachers, I cannot say the same about. But the school isn’t all that bad, and gives students a lot of options. The sports teams? Are based on small town run-arounds based entirely of popularity. But what more can you expect from coaches who don’t really know their sport. These coaches take a lot out of you with negativity. Not to mention this attitude rubs off on other players making it a hostile environment. But the academics provide great opportunities and many options for extra curricular overall. Not upset about the school, just the hostile athletic environment. Great school for such a small town.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 10331 E Deer Creek Ln.

"Childhood home, grew up here, it’s got its ups and downs. People always have the intention of leaving here and some do but it seems like 90% of the time it draws ya right back in, home is where the head lays they says. Ultimately Rochelle is easy to get in and out of and is very fair on cost of living, essentially it’s worth the drive In what you’d save on rent "

"I live in Rochelle in the Cleveland Sub divison. It is a wonderful neighborhood to raise a family; safe, quiet and friendly. I have had no fears of any kind since we moved here four years ago. Rochelle, in general, is a wonderful city to raise a family in. We are close to tollways and public transportation can take us to larger cities with excellent physicians, shopping, restaurants, etc. for a minimal cost. The people in Rochelle take care of their own as well as those in need elsewhere. There are always fund-raisers, generous contributions and a large food pantry for those who need help. I am so impressed with the various and many churches involved in caring for those who need help. There is a strong sense of community in Rochelle and I am happy to live in this wonderful city. "
