"Childhood home, grew up here, it’s got its ups and downs. People always have the intention of leaving here and some do but it seems like 90% of the time it draws ya right back in, home is where the head lays they says. Ultimately Rochelle is easy to get in and out of and is very fair on cost of living, essentially it’s worth the drive In what you’d save on rent "
  • Emily M.
"small town, nothing but an elementary school and a bar. if you don't have a car you can't live here alone."
  • Janet L.
"I live in Rochelle in the Cleveland Sub divison. It is a wonderful neighborhood to raise a family; safe, quiet and friendly. I have had no fears of any kind since we moved here four years ago. Rochelle, in general, is a wonderful city to raise a family in. We are close to tollways and public transportation can take us to larger cities with excellent physicians, shopping, restaurants, etc. for a minimal cost. The people in Rochelle take care of their own as well as those in need elsewhere. There are always fund-raisers, generous contributions and a large food pantry for those who need help. I am so impressed with the various and many churches involved in caring for those who need help. There is a strong sense of community in Rochelle and I am happy to live in this wonderful city. "
