"This lovely neighborhood situated in the newly renamed "University Park" is been rapidly changing having victorian homes all over completely gutted and done from the ground up, a hip and young crowd has steadily become the primary resident. Great place to call home and make new friends!"

"A great area full of archiecturally and historically significant homes inhabited by ethnically and economically diverse people. Very friendly and extremely convenient to freeways, schools, churches, the University of Southern California, the Staples center, Downtown Los Angeles, theaters, etc. etc. Have lived here for over 30 years. Have MBA degree and am an artist. One of the best kept secret neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Highly recommend. Lots of great, secret gardens in backyards that include 100 year old trees and plantings. Lots of L.A. City Cultural Monuments and National Register landmarks within the St. James Park National Register of Historic Places District. Highly recommend to creative individuals."
