9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe School itself is very nice as well as most of the faculty. For the most part each teacher wants you to succeed. The Faculty is always there to help you or talk to you. The Student body is very large and all eat lunch together which results in many problems and bullying. Overall, Hurricane is a great school.Other Review7y ago - Hurricane Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI agree with the parent who gave the school 1 star. There are exceptional teachers at this school, however there are others who are just going through the motions. My child has been demeaned by a teacher and has heard other students demeaned by the same and other teachers. My student has a teacher who loses student's work on her extremely messy desk and rolls around the room in her chair to teach. This same teacher mispronounces common words and grades my child's accurate homework as incorrect. The parking and drop off at the school is probably the worst I have ever seen. Dangerous to the students and a huge time delay to the community.Parent Review11y ago - West Teays Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school would get 10 stars if I could give it! The principle is extremely involved in everything, she remembers all the students names…which is crazy because that’s a lot of students! The teachers all take there jobs very seriously and make sure every child gets the best of the best education! The school goes the extra mile to make sure your child if they need it gets therapies that they need. This school is great with making sure no kids get bullied and everyone is treated fairly, which to me is as extremely important! This is a top of the line school for sure and worth getting your child into!Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 103 Mulberry Dr.

"The city always has something going for kids. The city has a reservoir that is stocked for good fishing and has a park there with baseball fields, basketball courts, a play ground for kids and a spray park. There is also a city park that has baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, hiking trails, two lakes for fishing, a picnic shelter, dog park, and a community center that includes a small shopping where you can go the ice cream shop and food court. In the summer time the show movies on a big screen where you bring your own chairs. Movie nights are free except for the food trucks and ice cream.
