1023 Bond Street - a great place for Mercer Law students - 2 or 3 Bedrooms/3 Bath Apartment located across from Mercer Law School, on friendly Bond Street. The Roommate Floor Plan provides flexibility: Two Bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and walk-in closets. The third one has a standard closet. This Flex room often serves as a study/office/den - but some folks use it for a third roommate (there'ss a third bathroom right up the hall (which some use as a guest bathroom).

Comfortable and spacious, the apartment has plenty of natural light - plus Vintage Charm with Modern Systems - including a great HVAC system, full sized Washer/Dryer, well laid out kitchen (all appliances included), handsome wood grain LVP flooring, and nice sized Windows.
There's easy, well lit, street parking right in front of the house.
And behind the house, is a shady covered patio and small yard area for tenant use.

Located in the College Hill Corridor, InTown Historic District - it's just steps away from Coleman Hill Park and Downtown Macon. 1023 Bond Street is one of two in this owner occupied, circa 1897 Historic Home on Bond Street, right next to Mercer Law School. Each of the two Coleman Hill Cottage Apartments has its own private entrance.

Bond Street runs in a two block arc between Georgia, Orange, and College Streets.
It has long been a favorite of law students, med students, law professors, lawyers and medical professionals - due to its shady, brick lined sidewalks, historic homes, and friendly neighbors. It's a just short stroll to several nice parks, as well as downtown shops and restaurants.

Responsive owners address repair issues quickly (and are nearby to open the door, should you happen to forget your key!)

Freshly deep cleaned and painted, it's available for July/Aug move in.

Screening criteria: Satisfactory credit, and positive rental history.
Preference given to Mercer Law & Med students.

Owner pays for trash service, yard maintenance, pest control.

Water, gas, electricity and internet are metered separately for each apartment and paid for by tenants. (either ATT or Cox can be selected as your internet provider).

Highly recommend renter's insurance. It's not very expensive when added onto your existing home or auto insurance. Meanwhile, Renters Insurance is required when/if landlord approves you to have a pet.

Pets must be approved by landlord ahead of time.
Pet fee/deposit of $350 ($150 of which is refundable if no damage).

There is easy street parking in front of the house on Bond Street.

No smoking inside the apartments, however smoking's okay on the back patio or your porch.

Please report needed repairs or any other issues "in time" so landlord can address these right away, so that you can fully enjoy your apartment

Lease is typically 12 months - August 1 through July 30

In March, landlord and tenants chat about renewing the lease for the coming year (so that we can all make our plans for the coming year).
