"McKinney is a beautiful place with mature trees and well maintained foliage. There are working class people with well mannered children. I love Halloween because people trick or treat with their kids and some pets and people decorate their homes with a flair for fun! I would raise children here if I were younger but I enjoy being a empty nester! 😊"
  • Alex216marquez
"Great community friendly neighbors safe for children I would not want to live anywhere else. Great restaurants and amenities around town"
  • Vinegasfamily
"Family friendly and safe neighborhood. People care about their homes and yards and take pride in home ownership. "
  • Annmarie V. D. H.
"Public transportation is about 30 minute drive and then 45 minutes to downtown Dallas. This is a heavily car reliant area"
  • Vinegasfamily
"Very cool pool and pond is amazing! Family friendly!!! Elementary school very close and walkable. Feel safe. Diverse community."
  • Maxxfrank
"My neighborhood is quiet, clean, and picturesque. McKinney is full of tree lined streets and every neighborhood has a small park and pool... Crime is very low the biggest alert I get from our Ring football is from a Bobcat lurking around the area. We’re close to Frisco so our children attended Frisco ISD... Downtown McKinney takes you back to a time when things were simpler with Candy Shops and Restaurants on every block. McKinney is the perfect place to raise a family or just to enjoy life with its restaurants and shops. We’re not too far from Downtown Dallas about a 25 minute drive. "
  • Marie V.
"Lots of dog owners in the area, nice sidewalks and area greenspace to walk your dog. Backyard sizes are big enough for larger dogs too."
  • Jennifer R. .
"If you live near by it is good. However, driving towards 121/DNT can be a minimum of 10 minutes commute. "
  • Melinda_whittemore
