4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a sibling of someone with disabilities, it pains me to write this. Myrtle Grove is by far the worst school in the Wilmington area. Not only is it poorly equipped with teacher’s that just “push students along” (even when it would benefit them to hold them back or actually work with them) but it condones bullying. A teacher admitted to acknowledging the bullying of a disabled student yet did nothing about it. This school is a disgrace to education. Soon, the school boards will catch up to them. If you have the option to send your student elsewhere, I recommend you do so.Other Review1y ago - Check out schools near 1007 S 5th Ave.

"The crime rates and safety can vary drastically from street to street, so I'd recommend looking at the actual street you intend to live on rather than the broad crime rates of the general area."

"Separate little houses instead of apartments. Very close to parks and lakes. Used to have a supermarket in the area but it was lost in a fire a few weeks ago. You can hear the train some times in a day or night."

"Revitalization of the Block Short Factory near the Historic Wilmington Downtown. Great area including Greenfield Lake, Benny’s BigTime, Satellite, and The Harp."

"I bought my home a month ago and I feel quite safe here. All of the homes are well maintained and the neighbors really watch out for each other. The early mornings and evenings are great for sitting on the porch. The neighborhood is getting better each block at a time. I wish I would have moved here years ago. The cost of the homes are very reasonable as compared to the national average."
