3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWeaver has a competent, but unchallenging staff of teachers, as a parent of a student you are left with the impertion that parental involvement is not wanted. The faculty is unequipped with the training or ability to serve the students in anything, but the most mediocre way. Weaver could be a great school but the principal asks for such basic expectations from students. The problem at Weaver is not unique, it exists in most of the schools in West Memphis. Since the faculty hand pick the parental boards themselves, and make certain that the people chosen will not challenge the normal dumbed down version of education the trend of mediocrity will not change in the near future. The only reason anyone should send their child to this school is if they are stuck and cannot send them anywhere else. If you do not believe me look at the books and other learning material that Weaver uses most are out dated by at least 10 years or more.Parent Review13y ago - The Academies of West Memphis Charter School
