I have had two children in this school for five years. They are both fluent and confident in their Spanish. They are both excelling in the English taught curriculum also. I feel welcomed by the principal and teachers. I am very happy we decided to enroll our children in this school.

"It’s quiet and private. It’s also inexpensive. There are children here. I feel secure. I don’t live far from town. There’s an espresso place, gas station and grocer very close by. Not even far from the post office. It’s quite peaceful here. Have never heard anything out of the ordinary. I wouldn’t mind living in another area like this one. We see a lot of wildlife. Lovely neighborhood. I would recommend it!! "

"There are many families in the area and some with horses, goats, chickens, etc. There is a great park with a skate park for summer and excellent sledding hill in winter! Great schools, a grocery store, and is close to town."

"crappy public transportation but if you have a car it's only 15 min to downtown maybe twenty in the winter time unless there is an accident then your not going anywhere for awhile"

"It’s a relatively quiet area. South Birchwood Lp Rd is a hazard as people in bikes and walking as well as cross country skiing seem to do this in the middle of the lanes and not on the shoulder."

"I’ve lived here for a total of eight years. Moved away, kept the house and then moved back when I could. It’s close to Eagle River to make it easy to go get whatever you need and a reasonable half hour commute to Anchorage each day. "

"It’s about 15 minutes to Eagle River, and about 30 minutes to Anchorage. Great neighborhood, quite,no problems. Love it here. Because of the creek, it’s about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than Eagle River."

"It's the sweet spot right between Anchorage and the Valley!! A little more spaced out than Eagle River so more houses have more land. Big horse community too! Shooting range and small airport are conveniently located. Rivers and trails for fishing and hiking in your back yard!"
