I know some children who attend Morse Young Magnet school and they are doing OUTSTANDING!!!! My child comes home excited about her school work and her teacher.

As a student at Poughkeepsie High School, I was mistreated, discriminated against, and ignored. The staff choose who they want to support, give privileges, and turn their backs when we ask for help. If you don't speak English well, they discriminate against you, even though you're American. They treat you as if you don't belong there. Bullying is ignored, teachers don't support everyone, and they let students pass tests using cell phones instead of doing their work, while others are punished for speaking out. This school needs a serious investigation because I'm North American and I suffered a lot, both psychologically and mentally. I hope the NYSED soon investigates the counselors, the history teachers, and especially the principal of grades 11 and 12, who don't do their job.

This school is HORRIBLE they are more worried about phones than actually teaching us and they reward bad and rude kids with more opportunities than the kids who are ACTUALLY doing the right thing everyone at this school is TRAUMATIZED they just don't wanna come out there face and say that they staff who is in charge acts like kids themselves and they wanna argue with the kids for fun and there all in there 20s to early 30s running the school
