3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe School itself is clean an the staff seemsNice. The Problem I’ve come to know is How the Principal Mario Perez shows favoritism to some students. I understand that he may not like a child, but at least be professional and nice .A child knows when they’re being singled out , and that’s so wrong for A Principled of a school to make a child feel less than.So I’m keeping notes of my grandson’s experience with Mr. Perez and I will be going to the superintendent when necessary. A child shouldn’t have to worry about going to school and being bullied especially when it’s an adult.I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t want anyone to be mean to his Children . So maybe being a principal of an elementary school may not be the right fit for him.Other Review5mo ago10 Reviews - Canyon Springs High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBest high school in Moreno Valley. The Canyon administrators are proactive at serving students and resourcing parents. Principal Kerr is helpful and willing to meet when necessary. The campus supervisors balance maintaining security with building relationships to encourage the students. The girls basketball program is second to none in the Inland Empire. The program for graphic design is not only fun and inspirational but a top-class opportunity for students to learn real world skills. Every school has it's issues and students who just want to mess around, but those students are managed well and not allowed to negatively impact the rest of the student body. It's a good school and one of the best in the Inland Empire.Other Review11y ago24 Reviews - Vista Heights Middle School

"Traffic is terrible. Drivers are terrible. Only one bus covers the area and the drivers are also terrible! Tons of coyotes in the area that will stalk u on a night walk. LOTS of police activity including helicopters and loud speakers at midnight or later! "

"Every dog I’ve met is super friendly and most owners are very good about keeping them leashes for everyone’s safety HOWEVER! it’s VERY common for owners to not pick up after their dogs even with the numerous public use trash cans AND the few provided poo bag stations found here and there…. "

Thar community is peaceful and feels safe. I like the location to the beaches, the mountains, the desert, and San Diego and Orange county. The best kept secret. "

"It's a nice little area to feel safe walking your dog, especially in the morning. However, I would caution to keep small pets inside at night because there are coyotes."

"Plenty of dog owners here. It’s nice to walk around the shopping center. there is a local dog groomer that is priced well, they leave water outside to passers by, and the apartment complexes nearby keep their grounds well. We have two small pugs and they enjoy the area. There is a large park called andulka, just down the street that is a couple blocks long, and they usually host special events there. "

"There’s a huge park that your dog can run around on and we’re really close to Sycamore Canyon where a lot of people take their dogs hiking. It’s not unusual to see neighbors walking their dogs around the neighborhood at any hour of the day/night and there’s a cute little pet shop in the town center."
