    Nice laying mountain lot with level area at the bottom where owner put in 3inch and crush and run gravel 20 years ago for a cmaper pad to overlook the road and pond across road. Drill your own well or use the spring water system on teh lot that is run to the road with pvc and might need a little repair but he used it for camping water is excellent taksing, just need work to get going again. house site while you camp on the land for now. Build your home leater unrestriced nice neighbros and nice area of town about 15 miles to mcdonals in murphy, about 10 more minutes to shopping at ingles and super walmart, gas and grocerties, good restiaurancts in Murphy, It's grower where getting reweries, niew your pizza and riveralk for waling trails. Love this lot to build.

      "vehicle is a must have commodity to get around when you live out of the town city limits. Unless you like to walk or ride a bike. They're are few other drawbacks as well. Communicating by cell phone is not very good around the countryside, lacking cell towers. This is a problem, even trying to get on the internet. Somedays are better than others but still we have poor reception. Other than that we have the beautiful outdoors. We can enjoy going to the national forest for hiking, camping, hunting, fishing or just driving around the back roads and enjoy scenery as well as wildlife. Living outside the city's limit might have it's drawbacks but you take the good and the bad as it comes and make the best of it."

      "Murphy, NC is a small community with all the basics (yes, including Walmart). There is a lot to do or you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Winters are NOT harsh, however, you will need warm clothing. You can enjoy the wildlife from your back deck or walk the many trails throughout the county. Although Murphy will have a Casino come the Summer of 2015; it will have little impact on the quality of life."
