We’ve been a PGE family for almost 5 years now and I’m very pleased. They work hard teaching the kids compassion, respect and responsibility. Love our teachers! Open communication, innovative techniques, and they work hard to make learning fun. I’m also v Rey impressed with Bullitt Counties drive to push their students to excel. There are some split grade classrooms and pull out programs for gifted and talented. We couldn’t wish for anything better!

My children came from private school to the Mount Washington Schools. My children have thrived and we've been extremely happy with the support of the school staff, the school district and superintendent as well as the community.

As a former student of this school, I have a lot to say about my experience. While the academic side is strong, many other aspects fall short. In my experience, teachers often do not effectively address issues between students, which can make problems worse rather than better.Another concern is favoritism. A large number of teachers seem to have clear favorites, and students who are not in that group may feel overlooked or treated unfairly. While some staff members are supportive, I’ve personally had repeated issues that made it difficult to have a positive experience.Disciplinary actions also tend to feel excessive at times. Many students, including myself, have been punished harshly for situations that likely would not be considered serious at other schools. Overall, while the education may be solid, I would hesitate to recommend this school due to these ongoing concerns.
