5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are great!. GHS is highly accredited due to the teachers. Administration has been lax with discipline. Some of the students are making it hard for the other students to learn. These students are making it very difficult for the teacher to teach. GHS is going to find it self in trouble if they do not step up and deal with this. If teachers start leaving then say goodbye to the A rating the school has enjoyed these last few years.Other Review9y ago - Fort Clarke Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTo say that bullying is rampant in this school is a major understatement. When a parent finds out about the things that have been said to your child and it makes your heart break and you want to cry, you want to immediately march down to the school to have a heart-to-heart talk with the principal and counselor.Whomever says that there is no bullying going on in this school is delusional or is being paid to say untrue things. If I could find a school for my child where EVERYONE is treated equally I would go in a New York minute but that is not to be; guess this student will have to stick it out at this "school".Parent Review2y ago - William S. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son participated in the ESE program at Talbot Elementary for Pre-K and Kindergarten. Overall, we were VERY pleased with the experience. Even though my son was a young student, all of the staff and teachers knew him very well, and they were incredibly supportive of his needs. Dr. Beland is an OUTSTANDING principal - and I say this not only as a parent, but in my estimation as an educator as well. He is open-minded and promotes an inclusive environment where all feel welcome and valued. During our time at Talbot, Dr. Beland went above and beyond to personally ensure that my son was always safe and well-supported in his environment. As a result, Talbot was truly a place of comfort and safety for my son, and he blossomed socially and academically there. He developed such a deep passion for school and learning that he would literally RUN to school every morning...which is one of the best feeling any parent can have! This was especially important since my son had limited verbal communication to tell me what his experience was, but his actions spoke very loud and clear. Gainesville has limited ESE resources, but I was truly blessed to have an amazing team at Talbot. I cannot recommend this school enough, especially the ESE program.Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near NW 90th St.
