"Lived here for over 40 years and have seen an incredible downturn in the quality of life. Population has boomed with taxes going up dramatically. Higher taxes with no increased services. We still have no garbage pickup, sewers, or even a street light. Schools are getting worse and much more renters, which means no investment in community."
  • "Picnics, bbqs, dances and concerts I enjoy visiting here because there is little to no congestion when driving and everyone is so polite. "
  • Jc709
"It’s not that bad. Unless you get behind someone that’s not doing the speed limit. I have to get onto Route 530 Lacy Rd. Then get onto Route 70 West."

"The grounds are well kept 55 and over, no one bothers you in the neighborhood. My monthly maintenance fee is affordable, and our water is included. "
  • Rgauthierjr
"I moved into this area in October 2017 after searching for a new home for about a year. I was looking for privacy and a quite neighborhood. You get that here with the 1 acre lots, so the homes are not on top of each other like in most other areas like Brick, Beachwood, Toms River, Lacy, etc. it’s also only about a half hour to our shore home in Manahawkin. Overall, nice area."
  • "Safety first. JUst like 1960, you can count on the neighbors for help when nee3ded. So safe you can leave your doors unlocked. If you want to fall back into yesteryear this is the place."
