Review Highlights

Town of Clarkstown, NY: lively suburban ease—great schools, green space, and quick NYC access. Loved for safety, top schools, parks and trails, easy commute, and abundant dining and shopping. Taxes are high; transit is spotty with infrequent trains and too few sidewalks on busy roads.

"We don’t really have community events, that is a huge reason why I am looking to move out of new city. Not a great place for young people to live in either, great for seniors. The parks are well maintained and it is an easy commute to places like bear mountain if you like to be outdoors. Would be better if they planned more community events for all to come out and enjoy "
  • Jennifer T.
