"Great village life with communities and neighborhoods throughout. Tons, tons, tons of places to walk to: restaurants, yoga, shops, therapy if you need it! Beautiful river views with well kept parks (the main park on the river includes a skate park and water section during the summer time). Pizza till 2am on the weekends, pretty sure this is the only town in all of rockland that can say that. There is a small art scene that is nice to tap into. Vegetarian and vegan restaurants in the area. "
  • Lauren M.
"The town just demolished the dog park, it’s now in desperate need of one. Aside from that, very dog friendly environment, most restaurants with outdoor seating welcome our pups. "

"It’s a walking town! But still feels like city living on a smaller scale, and it is very artsy, creative and friendly. There’s always something fun going on. A parade, a streetfair. A movie or tv show filming. Restaurant week... dancing at one of the restaurants. People sitting outside drinking coffee. People watching. I love it..."
