"This community is mostly older residents. I had school aged kids here and there weren’t many other kids around. It did feel safe for kids here. "

  • Helen B.
"It’s a quaint town. Great schools, easy commute to NYC, CT and other areas. The elephant hotel landmark makes us unique as it has history."
  • Helen B.
"It’s a clean safe town. Great schools and people. Close to the city yet quaint and quiet. I’ve lived here for 6 years."
  • Ann A. S.
"Beautiful neigborhood, lovely lake. Neighborhood traffic only, great for children. Minutes to 3 train stations. Top schools. Perfect! "
  • Lauren
"This is a small town with caucasian as pretty much the only people around. The schools are horrid. If you are less then perfect, have any learning disabilities or don't like bullies I would think about another town. There are few good restaurants in the area. The library is one of the few good things there though it is quite small. There is no public transportation. The taxes are far too high for what we are given. I do not suggest Somers for anyone"
