"Not a great place to live if you’re a minority. Pretty much everyone has a trump mentality however not everyone. Definitely regret moving here and looking forward to living in a more diverse environment. Taxes are a killer and many families are selling and moving out of state due to taxes being so high. CT is absolutely forcing people to leave the state with their high tax rates"

"Somers is a town for peacefulness! It has the basics...grocery, pharmacy, Urgent Care, public golf, great schools, hiking trails, limited shops and restaurants. The taxes are reasonable and in the next towns find hospital, full restaurants, movies, shopping malls. Come to Somers if you want clean air, friendly neighbors, great schools, and an arm's length away from all conveniences!"
