"People walk their dogs in our neighborhood quite frequently. Usually no problems but I could see an issue arising if unfamiliar dogs pass by yards that have their dogs out with no fence up. "

"Dogs are welcome here it seems almost everyone has one or more however it is not safe for them in summer when fireworks are being set off. Very scary and upsetting for them. It is a small neighborhood surrounding a lake and they love their fireworks around here!"

"Great family neighborhood that provides the sense of community not to mention safety. Very friendly neighbors who always wave their hands passing by and people are so active meaning walking dogs, jogging, bicycling etc. Beach is close by and multiple parks to enjoy Fox Rivers and Silver Lake around us. I love living in Silver Lake. "

"all of the nieghbor get along and we all have bomb fires on the weekend my nieghbor are closer to me than my own family"
  • Taylor L.
"I've lived here for too long and its a pretty average place ideal for small families with pets and older people. Not too much goes on here but during the summer months, there are a few rowdy kids that manage to get into trouble around night time. Just be smart about it, put up a motion detector light and lock your stuff up."
