What Locals Say about Antioch

Review Highlights

Antioch, IL: easygoing lakes-and-trails living, close to Chicago, small-town charm, quick commutes. Loved for safe, neighborly vibe, walkable historic core, train access, lakes, good schools. Drawbacks: limited late-night options, scant transit/sidewalks, dark spots, mosquitoes, higher taxes.

"I have only been here for a year so far, and our neighborhood goes above and beyond for each other. Such a wonderful community that we are proud to be apart of. Only reason why we have to leave is because of our work/ plant closing. But we will definitely be back to visit and stay as close as we can to visit our hang out spots! "
