"the Richland township parks dept is probably one of the most active I have ever encountered. great first Friday ideas like out door movie or t he fire dept cheese steak grab and go. Being walking distance to Quakertown parks and main St helps as well."
  • Trulia User
"They would like that it is a pet friendly neighbirhood. There is ample space to walk your dog. One thing they might not like is there are a lot of dogs in this neighborhood. Sometimes you might want to walk your dog without the distraction of other dogs. Also there are a lot of stay cats. "

"Nice rural area with new developments and nice old houses. Very low crime area. The schools are good and the staff is always in development. The shopping can be made locally with a great variety of well known restaurants and businesses. In summary a nice place to live with your family."
  • Jennifer V.

  • Rebecca.auseichyk
"My neighborhood is close to many shopping centers and restaurants. Although this is a convenience, traffic can get pretty bad sometimes. "
  • Liz W.
"Beautiful community with so much to offer families of all ages. Within walking distance of the Quakertown Farmers Market. 10 minute drive to the Pa turnpike. Beautiful park with monthly community activities (movie nights, kids events, outdoor concerts) Less than 10 minutes from Lake Nockamixon for boating, biking, picnics, bbq's. "

"The traffic is really bad and it is unsafe to walk or even get the mail. There aren't sidewalks, thus, it's not pet friendly and it sure isn't safe for children. There's no public transportation in Quakertown and shopping is quite limited as they don't even have a book store. "
  • mrsv0418
"I grew up in this house. It has so many memories and its such a great neighborhood. I often wonder what kind of people live there now and what it looks like. My parents bought it when it was brand new and we lived there for 10 years. It'll always be a special place to me. "
