What Locals Say about West Portland Park

  • Local resident
    West Portland Park, Portland
"Thereā€™s a review here about West Portland Park that is wildly inaccurate. Someone must have had a bad night. Iā€™ve lived here for 14 years and never seen any crime. It is a quiet residential neighborhood with parks and trees. A good place to call home. Neighbors are polite and look after each other. "

  • Ginger Sonntag
    West Portland Park, Portland
"There are tons of car break-ins in this area. The homeless people in the area like to set off random fireworks in the dead of night, very often. Thereā€™s a seedy bar in the area that attracts a lot of unsavory types and you will hear them arguing/fighting in the parking lot constantly. Car alarms galore. Would not walk alone at night or let children play unattended."

"Very very easy to commute. The accessibility to i5 couldnā€™t be easier. Lovely central area . Lake Oswego , Multnomah village is very close by and convenient. To live Central Portland is golden. Couldnā€™t be easier to commute. Thank you Trulia for asking . "

"Halloween and the local schools. Great places for the dogs to roam as well. Grand location for markets. All is convenience. Easy access to the freeway. Not a lot of crime or homeless community. Clean and respectable neighborhood. We decorate for all the seasonal holidays around here . Great for young to old to all ages . "

"Im retired, but traffic is horrible especially in the morning. Itā€™s been made worse by the mayor who took an entire lane of a Main Street just for bikes."

"We have lived here 6 years. Enjoy the diversity of the neighborhood and good schools. Over the last few years though the quality of the neighborhood is declining unfortunately "
