What Locals Say about Philadelphia

  • Anonymous in Philadelphia
"The people. It’s literally a variety of good and not so good folks. You may have a Jerry Springer show going on two streets down or Christian revival on another. It has its charm but not for the faint of heart."
  • Jessica B.
"I live in the country so there’s not community events close other than Loudon. Very rural area but 10 minutes away from necessities "
  • Jane N.
"Friendly country setting but close enough to larger cities. Close to recreational areas and easy access to interstate highway. "
  • Eva W.
"This is a quiet neighborhood surrounded on all sides except one by retirees. In the winter hunters sneak through yards, stealing signs, shooting all night and make mischief stealing what they can out of the yards and the guy next door (a few feet away) shoots his gun from 5AM till midnight and especially creates rowdy havoc by drinking and shooting on holidays. I've called the police many times but the troublemakers are always gone by the time the police get here."
  • Eva W.
"Too many thugs and hunters shooting guns all day and night"
  • Eva W.
"Hunters go through yards all night long shooting wildlife, knock down and steal fences."
