What Locals Say about Paxton

  • Barbara Lopes
"It’s a very quite town. You definitely need to get out of town for most fun things, but it’s not far from bigger towns and cities like Holden and Worcester."
  • Aimerdo
"There is no public transportation from Paxton to Worcester. But this is a nice quiet town, with parks to bring your dogs or bike through. "
  • texturesque
"Paxton is a wonderful area to raise children. The school system is part of the Wachusett School District. It is moments from Worcester, a higher education center with excellent hospitals and a wide variety of cultural and ethnic dining opportunities as well as the Worcester Airport. Located in Central Massachusetts, major highways of I90, I290, 395, 495 are easily accessible. Boston is 50 miles due East and can be reached by highway or commuter rail."
  • Lane K.
"I had to add a review when I these poor ratings. I recently moved into a home in Paton I didn't choose it - my now-husband owned it when we got married). Now I don't want to live here because I am used to being much closer to a selection of stores, the highway, etc, and that is reflected in my rating --- but this is a extremely safe, very quiet town with the best school system value in Central mass. I have wanted to get out of Paxton to something a little more bustling but I can't find a comparable school system outside of Harvard/Bolton and I would literally three times as much in Harvard for our home. It really is a terrific town, very safe with an TOP TOP notch school. "
