What Locals Say about The Point

  • Lauren F.
    The Point, Newport
"It’s a lovely neighborhood. Mainly an older crowd, not too many young children. Very dog friendly, and friendly in general. All colonial homes, the owners take great care of their properties. "

"Everyone is walking their dogs and knows my dog’s name. It’s paradise for dog owners. Enjoy dog friendly parks at Storer or Battery Park and watch the sunset. "

"Historic neighborhood with colonials and Victorians dating back to 1700-1800’s, right on Narragansett Bay. Peaceful, beautiful, with 2 parks."

    The Point, Newport
"I used to live nearby and work in the historic district of Newport. I cannot recommend the Point as a great place to live and Willow Street in particular. It is not in the flood zone and is a few feet away from a driftway overlooking the Goat Island lighthouse"
