"I stay here often — several times a year — at a house my family owns. Although it sees a lot of seasonal visitors, it is really homey and friendly and laid back. "
  • susanmitchell413
"Wakefield has all of the conveniences of a larger town or small city, without the drawbacks. Excellent restaurants, movie theater, even a great local theater company. Public transportation is great, and the bike path makes getting around for kids and adults a breeze. And did I mention the beach? It's less than a mile away from my house, and it's beautiful. If I want to go into a city, Providence in 30 minutes, Boston is just over an hour, and Amtrak can take me to New York from Kingston Station. "
