What Locals Say about Sunset Park

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood my whole life and it’s home. So many places to go to everything is so conveniently located it can be loud at times but loud with music and people just being happy yes there is the occasional drunk but they don’t really bother. Sunset park is a fusion of many cultures and amazing foods. We are proud of our neighborhood sunset park."

"I was born and raised in sunset park. It has changed over the years but there’s no place like it. I think the most unique thing about sunset park is all the different foods that’s are in each corner."

"Too much noise all around everywhere. Noisy neighbors inside and out of the buildings, drunk people often passed out on the street. People severely lacking civic pride for a neighborhood that has so much natural beauty and potential to be better"

"The community is diversified and transient. It could be better if neighbors would work together to keep the area clean and clutter free. Ie not hanging food products or laundry in the front of their homes creating poor curb appeal. "

"It’s a very “pet” dense neighborhood. I even see cats on leashes at times haha Too bad there isn’t a designated dog park or area here so that the fur babies have room to run. Such a shame since there are so many dogs."

"This place used to be horrible and it’s gotten better over the years. The neighborhood is very lively and can be overwhelming for some, because they might have to deal with loud neighbors or loud music playing outside late summer nights. The schools in the area are actually not bad. "
