What Locals Say about Idaho Springs

  • Kayla W.
"On the weekends it’s terrible! You can’t move at all in town and traffic is crazy on I-70. During the week days it’s okay"
  • Kayla W.
"If you work locally your commute is typically easy, However if you work down the “hill” (Golden, Lakewood, Denver) Than take Thursday and Fridays off because it’s bumper to bumper. And on holiday weekends don’t try to do anything just stay home! Also Sundays don’t go east on I-70 at all. "
  • maynardchery
"We have lived in this community for a long time continually improving and updating the home. We enjoy the peaceful environment. It is a sought after area for property because it is rare for property to come up for sale in this area. Hiking close by as well as zip lining, rafting, 4-wheeling and skiing. Lots of wildlife. Numerous restaurants near by. Denver is also a short drive away for city activities 35 miles, sking 25 miles. I-70 only a few miles away. The best of both worlds. Private rural lifestyle with all the conveniences near by."
