"For the most part, its a great area. Great for small children, access to water park and several parks with nice playgrounds. Near both elementary and middle school. Summer time brings PITS (Playground in the Summer). This is a free program for K-6 and many activities. All towns and cities have some issues, but for the most part this is a safer neighborhood, I could relax and let the kids play and roam the neighborhood without a lot of concern. It is a bit homogeneous, lacking racial and cultural diversity, which I see as a great downfall. It seems to be increasing in diversity slowly. I think this will make Hastings even better. The school district has been great. Having a hearing impaired child and a child with mental health issues, they were very helpful. Hastings has had meth and heroin issues, but that seems to be greatly improved. Great neighbors. "
  • Vincent H.
"the best place to live! I have visited many times, and it was great, always friendly, the local info is off the charts, great place you must buy now"
  • Greg S.
"The Wyndham Hills neighborhood is unlike anything else I have ever seen even in areas priced way higher! The designs of the homes on the lots is so beautiful and feels so open and comfortable I don't know why other areas can't even come close. The people there are always walking on the trails and are very friendly. What a truly wonderful place to live. Hastings is also a very modern little city along with it's historic areas and has everything one could want. Its also close to the St. Paul area too."
