  • Jacie
"I have lived in Groton in the village for 15 years and in the town for 10. It's a great place to live, raise a family, and get started in life. I grew up in the Buffalo area. Groton is convenient to Cornell, TC3, and Ithaca College the major local employers. Groton schools are great, a small community creates the support a single mom needs to raise a boy to a healthy young man. if you move to Groton get involved. "

"Groton is a great little town about 20min North of Ithaca. My husband and I bought our first house here 2.5yrs ago and could not be happier. Commuting to Cornell is pretty easy using the TCAT. It takes about the same time as driving. There is a lot of little town charm in this place. outdoor movie nights in the summer, a caboose ice cream stand, a great park with a pool, a community garden and the Groton Ole home days are fun. Even though it is tiny there is still gas stations, pizza delivery and small stores for you to get what you need in a pinch. If you are looking for a great little town without a huge nightlife and is convenient to Ithaca, Groton is it. "
