"We have Christmas Carolers that gather in the town square. Over 1000 people. There’s a great mill restaurant and everyone is friendly. "
  • Alana R.
"the dog park is the best rail trail and very quiet community, for the most part. definitely safer"
  • Sharon C.
"The town itself needs revitalized. Some areas outside of town are pleasant but it is a shame the square is so rundown."
  • Rebecca C.
"very pleasant, family friendly neighborhood! cute historic town with lots of cool things to see and do! "
  • Sharon C.
"Easy access to susquehanna Rail Trail. Historic Glen Rock Mill. Unfortunately the town needs renovation and the type of people that live in town leave much to be desired...."
  • Thomas W. D.
"Dead-end street with court consisting of high priced houses; very little noise or traffic. Lawns are very well kept and folks take pride in their homes and property. Very friendly neighborhood. Never saw so many John Deere lawn tractors in one place! The green and yellow JDs are easy to take care of and they are fun to use. I think the larger engine tractors are quite a bit quieter than the smaller engine walk-behinds."
  • Kelly M.
"Typical rural area. Not a lot of traffic. Surrounded by fields and dairy farms. Quiet and beautiful views. "
  • John E. G.
"I lived here for 15 years. I have land which I am now trying to sell. Glen Rock is hilly and there are streets without sidewalks. Many of newer developments like those on Glen Ave. do not have sidewalks making it unsafe for children. It is close to the interstate highway. There is a large shopping area in Shrewsbury and York which are just minutes away."
  • Mike T.
"Cottage Avenue is a streeet like no other in this historic little town. The street offers 1920's cottages, spacious victorians, a brick mansion, and all of the homes have charecter and charm. Great location in Southern York County PA Schools !!"
  • Peggy Z.
"Living in the Glen Rock area has been our way of life on the farm. The community shows pride of ownership with mowed yards, flower gardens and fields of grain. People here are friendly and helpful "
