Neighborhood elementary school does offer some family events for the children and parents. Rumford has several parks and playgrounds, along with the Ten Mile River Greenway bike-path that leads to Slater Park. My sisters and I grew up always feeling safe and included in our community thanks to our wonderful neighbors. Bonus points for its short commute to Providence! "
