What Locals Say about Collingwood

    Collingwood, Charlotte
"It’s a pleasant mix of both older couples and young families. Plenty of people riding their bikes and walking their dogs, lots of neighborhood events, and easy access to transit. "

"I have lived here for about 3.5 years and the area is lovely. I can walk to both the Park Road shopping center and the Scaleybark Light Rail Station in about 20 minutes or drive there in no time at all. It is within a 25 minute drive of Uptown, Southpark, and Ballantyne areas, so pretty much anything you can do in Charlotte is reasonably close."

"There are a lot of kids in the area due to the many apartment complexes so your kids can definitely have friends close by. Also parks are walking distance from to a 5-10 minute drive away. "

"For the most part I think this is a pretty good neighborhood. I will walk my dog on the sidewalks during the day, but I would walk around in the evenings by myself."

"Been here the last 4 years, love how convenient it is to everything! People are great, traffic sucks during the school year if you are out and about at drop off/pick up times but otherwise not bad :)"
