  • Kthomascfi
"Largest natural lake in PA. It is a full recreational lake for water sports. Public boat launch and beach club memberships for swimming. Bass fishing contests every Wednesday. "

  • Darlene V.

  • Debrachurchfield
"Safe, friendly. Good access to all surrounding areas due to its central location. Semi rural but close to great restaurants, parks, cultural events and shopping."
  • Joseph R.
"Safe neighborhood, quiet streets, does require maintenance as most areas have yards, trees, driveways that you just maintain yourself. "
  • Kevin A.

  • Jim P.

  • Jim P.

"clean, loving down home area. the school is new, teachers are good. it's a nice place to live...I've been here all my life"

"many places have a private or rural feel with the convenience of being 10-15 minutes away from major stores and businesses. "
  • William M.
"The back mountain is one of the stupidest cities around there’s nothing to do here except for summers when the fair comes around "
  • Kate D.
"Great safe family area and homes/yards aren’t on top of one another. Grew up here my entire life and now know my child’s safe to play outside too. A lot of deer that will sometimes get into the roads, but otherwise a beautiful spacious area that you don’t have to be concerned about overcrowded areas or being unsafe walking your dogs or letting your kids out to play. Neighbors are friendly and while spaced out pretty well still usually will know each other by name or wave as you go by etc. "
  • DCP
"Quiet low traffic areas to walk your dog. Lots of dog owners in the area too. The downside is there are no sidewalks so your strolling in the street. "
  • H
"Very open and free for dogs to roam, but bears and other wild animals may be a concern. plus also street lights and such are pretty limited and scare in some areas..."
  • Seganhamiltonmsw
"Dallas has very little activities and is not designed to accommodate younger people. Nice schools but nothing really in the way of entertainment/shopping."
  • Harry m.
"live here for a while and like it. nice area nice neighborhood. nice neighbors. solid clue. good resale. "
  • Brad K.
"Dogs are always welcome in our neighborhood. Most people have them and enjoy them. Most owners are curious"
  • sc3465
"The area seems to be nice when you drive by, but one will be surprised to find out that there isn't a safe place to walk with fear of getting hit by a car... Neighbors keep their dogs chained up all year round. People shoot guns at all hours of the night. There is a lot of traffic around Lake Silkworth making it an unsafe place to walk a dog if you have one. "
  • rbartizek
"Typical suburban for the most part, with good schools. No "Main Street" atmosphere; instead lots of small shopping centers. Need a car to do anything."
