    "People love to walk their dogs in the Greater Heights. I never had to get a Dog because I could just love everyone else’s. The Heights is the most sought out area for a reason! It’s absolutely perfect. Being a transplant from Alabama, I’m no stranger to small towns, but honestly it’s like a big city with a small town vibe! The Heights is one of Houston’s greatest treasures. I’m excited to see how the up-an-coming Independent Heights will fair. You've got a homeless shelter, a handful of halfway houses for newly released criminals of different kinds, drug dealers and what comes with that (prostitution, theft, squatting, gang violence in and out of the schools), oh and its walking distance from 3 jailhouses & a federal prison, it's a dangerous place. Gentrification will only take care of one of those issues. "
