4 Bedroom 2 bathroom brick home, with carport and off street parking, storm cellar in back yard. Back yard is large and is not fenced. Home has been painted neutral gray color and has vinyl plank flooring in livingroom, ceramic in kitchen, dining and bathrooms and carpet in bedrooms. Room sizes are large. Central heat and air and lots of storage closets. Appliances include gas stove and refrigerator as well as a dishwasher. Washer/dryer hookups in utility room, but no appliances included.

TO APPLY: pick up application at 1909 E 7th Circle in Shawnee and return BY EMAIL to the email address on the application along with a copy of your drivers license and pay verification for each adult applying. We will call you and set up a time to show you the home. There is no application fee. We do not offer online applications nor send them. This is the only way to apply.

    "There are some parks that aren’t kept up with and have discarded needles left around. When it’s not stolen packages and strange people knocking at your door, it can be nice. We have a friendly police force and some of the people here are nice. There’s a lot of local owned businesses and head shops. We have the Crows market that sells fresh produce only from Oklahoma farmers. It’s not so bad, just be careful of where you walk and remember to lock all your doors. It would be good to have a dog with you."

    "The north side of shawnee(N of Independence) is the best part of the town. The south is ROUGH though. If you do live on the south side- keep doors locked/windows locked and try to have fenced in yards. "

    "There are very few sidewalks through Shawnee. Only a couple raids partially have any at all. People don’t really watch for them while driving. The animal control doesn’t help if your animals are lost. Not very good place. "

    "I grew up in this neighborhood and moved back after 30 years to help my folks. This is a quiet neighborhood with lots of friendly people. This is a great location as it is close to the bank, library, churches, restaurants and grocery stores and parks. I love the big trees on our street."
