Built in 1915 as the First National Bank of Olean known to generations as the "Manny Hanny" building this seven-story Classical Revival showpiece has been meticulously restored from the granite columns at street level to the terra cotta cornice crowning the skyline. A historic renovation brought the building back to life with 21 modern apartments above the original banking hall, now home to commercial, gallery, and event spaces.

Residences blend the character you can't build anymore oversized windows, soaring downtown views, the weight and quiet of a steel-and-brick bank building with fully modern interiors and systems. You're at the corner of Union and State in the heart of Olean's revitalized downtown: coffee shops, restaurants, and the Allegheny River Valley Trail all within walking distance, with St. Bonaventure University a short drive away.

These neighbors drive past our house blowing their horns at obscene hours of the day, they tell obscenities at me and my mother and claim they are "vigilantes" carrying out "mob rule."
