"I’ve lived here for 30 years and mostly everyone is friendly and kind. There isn’t much to do in the town but it’s still a great town."
  • Alisha
"I lived there for 5 years. Family friendly in most spaces. Too many bars. Schools need some improvement. "
  • Queentina5574
"I was raise here and after 30 years have came back home to a welcoming friendly community. This is a great safe community to raise children and to grow up in. The since of family and unity is strong and inviting to new comers."
  • Teresa
"My daughter and grandkids have lived in this area for 18 years .everyone is friendly and look out for each other "
  • Homer.nevins
"The school system is not the greatest. Yes, they teach the criteria that is needed for students to learn; but most of the questions on their larger state tests are different from what they’ve been learning. Also, punishment is not given to the max, as it should be."
  • Robinrschutte
"Great new well maintained members-only dog park. Good location and adequate size. So far it’s met all my expectations. "
  • Crafttorelax
"For purposes of my activities I do not experience major difficulties when I commute within the city."
  • Rene.ruiz.0777
"The Friendly City Is True To Lebanon's Slogan, However It's Not As Clean As When I Was Coming Up. We Should Have A City Clean Up Once A Month. "
  • Bettylowe478
"this is an older neighborhood but quite most of the time. not everyone takes c as re of homes. wish they would "
  • Kristen R.
"Nice sidewalks for easy walking, and we are in close proximity to the walking trail. It’s normal to see a lot of people walking their dogs, or just walking or running in the morning or evening. "
  • Kayla d. 3.
"great area for families. most have dogs and small children in the neighborhood. the is a pond and trail through our wooded areas"
  • Lisa H.
"I lived in Lebanon all my life until college. Great little town where everyone knows everyone and very friendly. The city is a "sleepy" city, but it is still a great place to live."
  • Titusrules
"It is welcoming. Hoa does a wonderful job. Common grounds are always kept up. Neighbors are caring but not too involved. "
  • Samantha H.
"I have lived in this neighborhood for 4 years and I really enjoy it. It is quite for the most part and neighbors are friendly. "

"Lebanon has been declared the cleanest city in Indiana. There are two large parks, including Memorial Park, which hosts two full-sized basketball courts, multiple pay apparatuses, and the newly built water park. The water park has two large slides, zero-depth entry, lazy river, splash area for small children, youth-sized water playground, wave pool, locker rooms, umbrellas, and concessions. Lebanon also has a movie theater in town, multiple restaurants, including BW3s, Arni's, and local bbq at Parky's, groceries, convenience stores, drug stores, and supermarkets. Sidewalks connect the city together for incredible walkability. Lebanon Community Schools were graded A by the state in 2014. The community hosts numerous events throughout the year, including the Boone County Fair, Fourth of July events, parade, and fireworks, and the Back to the Fifties Festival. It's a great place for families, young couples, and retirees. The people are friendly, there are many ways to get involved in the community, and the amenities are plentiful."
